Anthony J. Kocis, AAI
President

Tony Kocis is the President of the HDH/HUB regional office and has been with the firm since 1993 when he joined as Vice President. Tony has over 26 years’ experience in the insurance brokerage industry.

Tony started his career at HDH as sales executive and in addition to becoming one of the top sales producers he developed an expertise in the transportation industry, which later developed into a new department for HDH. He was promoted to Senior Vice President of Transportation and under his guidance the department became one of the largest and most trusted transportation brokerages in Pennsylvania.

In 2004, Tony was promoted to Executive Vice President and became a member of the board of directors as well as a trustee. He also became involved in both the operations and financial end of the agency and led the M&A team on two acquisitions.

Tony earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Youngstown State University in 1987. In 1991, he attained the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation.

Tony is a member of the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association and Sewickley Heights Country Club

He is married and has two children and lives in Center Township, Beaver County

William Knox, ARM
Executive Vice President

Bill is an Executive Vice President at HDH and manages the Alternative Risk Department. He has 30 years of industry experience, and joined HDH in 1998 to create and develop alternative risk strategies for its client base. Bill began his career with the CIGNA Captive Unit in NY in 1986, and has been working in the alternative risk field ever since.

Bill is a graduate of St Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and earned his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) degree in 1993. He is a Chairman of the St. Barnabas Medical Center and is a member of the HUB Pittsburgh Executive Committee.

Matt Scott
Executive Vice President

Matt is an Executive Vice President with HDH Group / HUB International and has been with the firm since 2005 when he merged his own employee benefit agency with the HDH Group. With 20 years of insurance industry experience, Matt focuses his efforts on developing strategic employee benefit & property casualty programs that leverage industry leading risk management practices, alternative funding methods and health and productivity management.

Matt earned a B.S. degree from the Pennsylvania State University. Matt resides in Dauphin, Pennsylvania with his wife and three children.

Vince Maromonte
Senior Vice President

Vince is a Senior Vice President and manages the Employee Benefits Department. He joined the company in 2011 and has worked with employers to develop and sustain long-term benefits solutions. Today, Vince leads a team that strives to create new and advanced initiatives while continuing to provide a Fortune 500 level of service to all clients.

Vince earned a B.S. in both Actuarial Mathematics and Business from the University of Pittsburgh.

Vince resides in Pittsburgh’s North Hills with his wife, Carolyn.

Kathy Davies
CFO & COO

Kathy Davies is the CFO & COO of HUB HDH. She is responsible for all aspects of regional accounting as well as operations and procedures. She began her career as a Property and Casualty CSR and has been with HDH since it's founding in 1982. During her tenure at HDH she has served as Manager of Accounting Services, Controller, Treasurer and Chief Administrative Officer.

Kathy is a graduate of Robert Morris University and serves on the board of the JMD Cancer Resource Center.

Richard C. Atkinson
Senior Vice President

Rick is a Senior Vice President with the HDH Group in the firm’s Harrisburg Division. Rick has over 25 years of insurance industry experience, much of which has been focused on working with clients in the construction industry and with public entities.

Rick is a past President of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Central Pennsylvania, and was their 2008 Man of the Year. Rick is a past Chairman of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Rick is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM), and is a licensed Producer in Property & Casualty and Life and Health Insurances. He earned Bachelors of Arts and Masters of Public Administration degrees from Shippensburg University.

Rick is married and has two children. He resides in Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.

Glen M. Sandusky
Chief Marketing Officer

Glen joined The HDH Group in 1999 and managed a book of Property & Casualty business with an emphasis on larger clients. His titles included Senior Vice President and Property & Casualty Department Manager.

When The HDH Group was acquired by HUB International on July 1, 2015, he became the Chief Marketing Officer and remains the Manager of the Property & Casualty Department. Glen is also a member of the Executive Management team.

Prior to HDH, Glen was with Marsh in Pittsburgh, Johnson & Higgins in New York City, and with Aetna in Pittsburgh, Parsippany, and New York.

He earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Management from Penn State, has completed many professional development courses, and is a licensed Pennsylvania broker.

Glen resides in Pittsburgh’s South Hills with his wife and three sons.

Gregg Proud, CPCU
Senior Vice President

Gregg is a Senior Vice President and Manager of HUB HDH’s Transportation Department. HUB HDH Transportation is comprised of 11 members servicing and placing coverage for approximately 500 trucking clients. Gregg’s experience spans 30 years from underwriting and brokerage/marketing, with the last 12 years being HUB HDH Transportation’s Department Manager.

Gregg is a graduate of the University of South Carolina (class of 1986) and has earned the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriting (CPCU) Designation, serving as President for the Allegheny Chapter of CPCU Society in 2004-2005.

Gregg resides in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with his wife Mary Jo, and are parents of three adult children.

Chet Rhoads
Executive Vice President/Chief Sales Officer

Chet Rhoads began his career in 1988 working for The Equitable Financial Companies selling Life, Disability, and mutual fund products. He then went to the group side and became a large group sales representative for Blue Cross of Western PA (now Highmark). In 1993 Chet left the carrier side and joined The HDH Group. During his tenure at HDH, prior to being acquired by HUB in July of 2015, he produced a large book of Employee Benefits business, ran the Employee Benefit practice, and mentored producers. When HDH joined HUB, Chet was named the Chief Sales Officer. Chet still produces, and has most of his intellectual capital in the Employee Benefits world.

Chet serves on the boards of; The Caring Foundation, Marcus Ruscito Foundation, and Mt. Club. He also mentors inner city children through The Bridges Program.

Chet is married with two daughters, and resides in a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA.
